Powerlon Vapour Control Layers protect insulation materials from interstitial condensation. VCLs are installed on the warm side of the insulation in order to keep the insulate dry and free from unwanted water vapour permeating through from within the building.
Powerlon Vapour Control Layers are manufactured by a cast extrusion process to provide a bonded construction to minimise the risk of delamination.
Extending our current range of Vapour Control Layers, our new product, Powerlon UltraBlock 300 is a foil-backed, reinforced Vapour Control Layer. The foil layer improves the insulation charateristics of the membrane, as well as reflecting heat back in to the building.
